This was the clubs first attendance at the Euston Rural Pastimes Event at Euston Hall Estate just south of Thetford.
The display was situated next to the estate lake and we were allowed to park directly behind our gazebo's which was a great help when setting up.
We were extremely lucky on the day to have sunshine and a gentle breeze with no rain. Unfortunately due to some excess of surface weed on the lake brought about by recent good weather our sailing was very limited but we still managed to get a few boats wet.
Due to the efforts of all the members that attended our static display by the lake was as usual very impressive including not only many types of craft but also a display of working tanks and a special collection of classic and rare model diesel engines, not forgetting of course our clubs pride and joy 'Fearless'.
The club would like to extend our thanks to Lord and Lady Grafton and all the estate staff that helped us with this event.
